I have looked everywhere on how to change the color of the start button .... any know how to do this ? i want it silver to match my theme .... Also the grouping of webpages in the task bar is driving me nuts how do i stop it ?

well every game ive tried on XP runs sweet ...... you sure its XP ? even paris to dakar runs great ... fps avg 80 all games CRamaglia : atleast you tried to help .... i wouldnt waste my time next time m8

yer i did that a while ago..... after rechecking ... i had to edit two keys .. not just the one ... ... NV11_mode and NV11_opengl works great now ..... 80fps in all opengl games

Ive run XP2600 Pro for about 4 days and i agree.... it looks nice and pretty but i really cant see any thing special..... 2K is the pick i think..

i just got through the problem of CounterStrike crashing every 5 minutes.... Geforce 2 MX I tried 14.70 's , bios flash etc etc DIDNT work... So i took the card out and put another Graphics card in and it works fine now...... ASUS Geforce 2 MX........ cant work out why it wouldnt work on that card .... strange

I have exactly the same problem..... MX 200 happened in win2K and now in XP , start playing half life ... plays fine fo r5 minutes then crashes to desktop.....i have tried everything, flashed the cards bios, tried numerous drivers and fixes..... I have run a number of benchmarks in openGL = no problems at all.... its driving me nuts .. if you find a fix let me know please.... ----------------------- Fixed... I took the Card out and put another in and it works fine now

Im looking to flash my Cards bios, i have found some sites but the updates arent Dated so i have no idea of the latest bios..... any links etc ..... ive been surfing for hours and cant find a good site.....

I have ran diagnostics and some OpenGL diags http://www.tirtanium.de/prog3d.html 75-80 fps in OpenGL at 1024 res.... not one problem come up.... The game runs perfectly on 98SE ..... just 2K and XP...... Max payne runs fine too....... Half life will run for about 5 minutes then crash to desktop...... all new drivers etc and it still wont work thanks for your help guys ....

(ge force 2)Win2K and XP 2600 --- i have the same problem..... i would fire up a game like half-life or counter- strike ..... i can play fine for about 5 minutes , then it crashes , and goes back to desktop..... ive tried all detonators etc ..... flashed my cards bios .... and it still happens .... theres nothing i havent tried ...... i really dont know why this happens .... im at my wits end ive been reading a few forums and a few people also have this problem , but ive never seen a fix.....

hi Brian, The reason i want to flash the Graphics card bios is : In win2K and XP i cant play half-life or counterstrike...... the game starts fine, sometimes it lasts 5 minutes then crashes and drops to desktop, sometimes might be 10 minutes... then it crashes...... I have tried all the detonator drivers, nvrefix etc..... and it still happens ..... on 98SE it runs fine ..... I have tried everything possible to get it to run properly but no luck..... through searching there seem to be a few people with this problem.... my guess is its the card ...... the bios I had was 3.11.00.08 i now have 3.11.01.37 (thanks to the link you gave me) i am just about to test and see if it runs any better, it so damn frustrating....... if it was just XP it wouldnt bother me , but it happens exactly the same in 2K any ideas would be appreciated thanks

I cant get counterstrike to run i get a message saying my card does not support openGL mode ? the card is a Nvidia MX400 .... im using the drivers which came with XP2600... can anyone help me with this..... all worked fine under 2K and 98 ........ thanks
