Hello there. It's been ages since I installed Windows 2000 to a friend's computer... I set up all the needed accounts and such things - but the problem is that only Administrator account has administrative privileges, all others are just a normal users... Now my friend need to install a software that needs administrative privileges to instll, and I - don't ask how - forgot the Administrator password. I hope that reformat is not the only way to fix the problem. Does anyone have any better idea how to retrive/change Admin password? Thanks,

You probabbly can't see it because it is Hidden System Folder... Just try to enter "C:\RECYCLER" in your address bar. Good luck.

Does anyone noticed that ICQ 2000b (~4.63) is working wery strange? I mean - the menues sometimes opens okay other times opens and disappears but they are still 'open in background', - the ICQ Window's graphics are disarranged sometimes when you open some menu items - when you move window arround the screen it strangely jumps arround and so on. Does anyone know what could be wrong? Am I one and the only who experienced this kind of problems? I am runing WinXP RC2 on Pentium III EB computer with 256 megs of RAM and nVIDIA RivaTNT2 graphics card...

Hello. Somewhere under "How Internet Connection Firewall (ICF) works" in some Helpfile I read that: "All inbound traffic from the Internet is compared against the entries in the table." So there IS a table with definitions of what can go and what can't go through the firewall... Does anyone know where can I find that table, and how can I edit it? My problem is that the firewall wont let the IRC to get through because it uses 'dangerous' ports: 6660-6669 or something... So I'd like to add the IRC service definiton to that table and it may work okay... Can anyone help me, please? I am out of ideas... Thanks...

Hello... To find ICF (Internet Connection Firewall) go to your Network Connections (Control Panel|Network Connections) and open Properties of you Dial-up or Broadband connection to internet (Click your ISP icon and on right-side menu click Change settings of this connection under Network tasks). Then go to Advanced tab and you will se Internet Connection Firewall checkbox and you may be able to click 'Settings' if ICF is enabled... -Andrej
