Question about via 4in1 4.33 under WinXp
FatFish replied to bonkers325's topic in Customization & Tweaking
Quote: VIA 4-1 4.33 installed in winXPFinal just fine. Everything is great and smooth, including games. I dont understand what some of you guys are dibbling about. If you have VIA chipsets and winXP you want to install at least the AGP driver from the 4.33 package. Not everyone's machine kicks *** like yours. -

Can the new win2k server get a copy of the zone data from the primary server during the replication?
-
Setup a Remote and Routing server at the computer that you have the modem and phoneline installed. and then setup dialup server.. then go to user.. and config Dial-in permission.. then the dialed-in computer should act as a PC in the LAN... Not sure if this is what you want...

I think your power supply is fine if you don't have a GeForce card. Maybe problem with your IDE driver? But it won't hurt if you get a new and more powerful power supply though.

PM 7 works on XP. I'm not sure if PM6 will work on Fat32 in XP, but I wouldn't try it. Very risky.

NTFS 5 (Win2k) != NTFS 5.1 (WinXP) so don't use PartionMagic 6 on WinXP get it installed != its working, because the program does something physical on your harddrive.

i have installed Visual Basic and Visual C++ of the Visual Studio 6. And they both works fine.

i have same problem with Det4. Blue screen crash with system dump pointing to NVDisp while playing starcraft.

in your bios, try to set your clock rate down or use less agressive seting 3-3-3 instead of 2-2-2.. see if you still get a BSOD. and sometimes when it said its PC-133 RAM, it sometimes can't run at 133, specially those with generic brand name.

it comes with the powertoy XP if you can't find it, post here, i can send it to you. But plz look for it yourself frist.
