Mostly Harmless I have the same thing happening in Win2k using DosFreaks Whistler toolkit. I will try the 2k 1.5 toolkit maybe today if I have time. I´m in the spot where you HAVE to race with chocobo. And in 2k if it crashes in the battles or after them, put checkmark on EmulateWriteFile, worked for me.

I´m in the spot where you have to go to the Chocobo Race to get out of prison. But the Race minigame won´t work, it does the same that it did in the first battle before I downloaded and installed Whistler App Toolkit 2.0 (DosFreaks version) I had to put the EmulateWriteFile in order to get the battles working. The Race won´t work,black screen comes and music is slow and it cuts a while and then it pops to Windows and says Ff7.exe has.....U know. Does anybody know what other fixes I have to put in orfer to make the Race work? I choose the Win2000 layer and add the EmulateWriteFile fix and play.
