I just purchased a Seasound Solo Ex hard disk recorder for my computer yesterday, which will allow me to record CD quality music on my computer. It consists of a breakout box with preamps and inputs for my instruments and it also comes with software and a PCI card. While reading through the manual, I noticed it was only good for Windows 95-98SE. I am running Windows 2000 Professional. I checked out their website and the company has gone out of business and wil not ber releasing the drivers for 2000/ME. So, my question is, do I take this back, or wait until XP arrives? I signed up to be a beta tester, but I wanted to ask anyone out there if you think the "AppFix" function on XP will allow me to successfully emulate 98 in order to get this thing running. Any information would be great!
Thanks for your time!
