A friend of mine has winxp installed on his notebook and the sound works ok. But after awhile the sound stops working and the in device manger the driver says hardware not functioning code 10. When u shut off the puter and turn it back on it well work but a reset doesn't. Does any on have any idea what the problem is? The sound card i am not sure what it is but it is a intel sound card.

Has anyone gotten evil islands to work under any version of xp?

Thanks it must be a video driver issue then. For me the game randomly freezes, and i am using the same version of xp as u.
