SBLive work fine now !!!! I have resolve the troble.... I use Riva Tuner and config option via agp compatibilite and TADA !!! Sound enviroment works fine in Baldur's Gate II Detonator 21.83 works very fine ... Thanks for all... 3DMaker

Hi... I buy a sound Blaster live value and my windows xp 2600 detect and install this card fine, four speakers works fine. So in Baldurs Gate with enviroment sound on when one of the personages says the sound is with a strange racket, if enviroment sound off the sound works ok ! So what ? I test with a sound card Genius live 5.1 and same problem in enviroment sound on. I have the solution... You need configure max payne before run... I dont remenber what configuration is best so you disable fog and test again.. Good luck to you... And very fun... 3DMaker

I install de sp1 hot fix for XP final and this make my xp more stable now:D http://heretofore.net/extras/ms_hotfix_sp1.rar Thanks for you help... I test more but i have tested 4hrs and no problems. This link for hotfix dont need password. 3DMaker

I just test this same games Porshe and BG2... What is you computer configuration ? I run windows xp in TBird 1.2gb 512mb 133 and GeForce 2 pro 64mb My tests: 1-Install Detonator XP 21.83 (fine ); 2-Install BG-2 in minimal instalation (fine); 3-copy folder 'cd' into path of you install bg (for run more fast), all cd's 1,2,3 and 4. 4-If you have instaled full copy baldur.ini in other folder and reinstall in minimal instalation, after instalation copy baldur.ini to bg2 folder; 5-Install directx7 full, this works fine windows xp identify 2 versions of directx. 8) I dont need run bg2 in compatibilite mode and i setup all graphics options, 3D acelerator, blins efects etc... In the porshe rename file gimme.dll in game folder and its work fine with detonator xp 21.83 and directx7. I run this game in 1280x1024x32 very fast and cool...

Hi... I tired... I run windows xp 2600 and Baldurs Gate II work very funy, my last test after 5 hrs the crash and I load save game and crash again and again.. again.. So I reboot the computer and load the game, its now work fine, but crash in another part of the game ! the crashs take more frequents ! I test other games like Max Payne and this work fine . I format my hd 3 x and instaled detonator 21.81 (works bad), 21.83 (work fine) and 21.85( ), I update my bios, run xp in ATA 100, RAID 0 and the problem dont resolve, a install path for BGII. The game is very crazy , other day a load the saved game and read new item found and tada.... windows crash ... Thanks for any help... Hi, I install the windows XP 2600 Final and my games, like NFS 5 and Baldurs gate 2, random exit the game with Detonator 4 21.81. Now i install new detonator 4 21.83 WHQL and for my surprise all games run very fine and fast 8) .
