You have to look at your bios, whether it recognizes your CD-ROM as PIO 4 or UDMA 33. In the first case, it may possible, that you have only PIO 4 or DMA Multiword 2. The 2920 and 2920A are original Future Domain controllers, which will not be supported within W2K and XP. The 2920C is an adaptec product, which is supported for W2K and they maybe XP-drivers in about 6 - 8 weeks. adaptec is still waiting, that Microsoft certifies the SCSI-drivers.
