Theres a fix for it on the windows update site. It's a mouse driver update and has fixed the problem for me I've also installed IntelliPoint 4.01 alongside the update to ensure good working + to get the thumb buttons going again ;(

Good news, I tried the PS2 converter and it works! thanks for the tip, OLError. Spuddeh, ring up Logitech and ask if they can send you a PS2 converter, they should do. If not give M$ a ring and tell them you got a M$ mouse or something, they're very easy to get around

I've disabled it in the mouse settings in control panel but it feels like its still on in games, and it's very difficult to play online! Any help as to how to completely get rid of it greatly appreciated.

After creating a setup cd of windows 2000 that incorporated the Service Pack 2, I have lost the Compatability Mode Tab that was found at the end of every files properties. Is there any way I can get it back? Thanks in advance.
