Caligula

Hi all!! I`ve got a MS sidewinder FFB pro joystick,the old kind with the shift button on it. I like having that button and use it to double the buttons on the stick ,the new FFB2 doesn`t have it.Too bad I can`t use it anymore on XP.The profiler software doesn`t work with it. Does anyone know if M$ will ever update the program, or they just want to force us to buy the new stick even though the old works fine ,except for the damn software that they refuse to make compatible with 2000 and XP. Well can anyone help,either telling me wether I should even expect the update,or any workaround by third-party program...etc. THX in advance

The sidewinder software 4.0 I belive works fine with 2000/XP, but that only works with Precision2 ,FFB 2.In the helpfiles it states that for the older joysticks I need to use version 3.2,wich does not work with 2000/XP.XP has drivers for the stick,it`s only the profiler software that`s giving me problems,and keeping me from getting the most out of it. Belive me I did look around quiet extensively before I posted here.
