  1. Creative/Soundblaster website(s) list a bunch of driver updates for XP, some avail now, others due END-NOVEMBER (URL below)!! (and HOW long would they have had access to XP to write / test drivers??) I have SB PCI64 (ES1370) which has NO driver listing at all. Has anyone got the PCI64 working properly under XP and what drivers worked for you? If someone has been able to get this card going I would also be interested to know what XP has identified it as in Device Manager. Thanx http://www.soundblaster.com/support/winxp/

XP pro / SB PCI64 - "scratchy" sound output?

And.... how long have they (Creative) had to come up with drivers? soundblaster.com advises "late October to mid November" for drivers. I've uninstalled xp and backed off from the bleeding edge!
  3. Can anyone assist please? Upgraded from W98 to XP Pro, all devices in W98 were working ok. XP upgrade went ok except that now sound is distorted - sounds "scratchy", kinda hi-pitched. All devices ok in Device manager, no conflicts. Abit KT7A, Tbird 1.3, 256Mb, SB PCI64 sound etc. MS Knowledgebase no help. Reboots no help, problem is consistent. No XP driver update on Creative website either. Thanx for any assist...
