I am currently dual booting Linux and Xp, I had XP installed first. Linux does work with NFTS as that is what my disk was before I installed Linux on it. Also just set your boot up sequence to boot to CD first and then you won't have any problem with it. Unless you don't have the cd that is. Have fun

I have a Logitech Cordless keyboard and mouse, and whenever I'm trying to type anything the stupid thing heads off to wonderland typing away, it never did this before I installed XP, anybody else had the problem? Thing is it doesn't just type characters, it's typing real words that make sense. It's not storing things I've typed either, because it's words and sentences I know I've never typed before. Any help would be appreciated. Dell 1.5 Mgz Desktop 712 MB Rambus @800 Hz Logitech Cordless Mouse and Keyboard 19" Trinitron Monitor Windows XP Professional IBM 20 Gig HD Maxtor 40 Gig HD

I'm sorry I can't help but enter the converstation right here. I have to agree with Thymios. There is a lot of mitigating factors in the choosing of chips. Just because something is a little bit faster does not make it better, I've had both AMD and Pentiums and run both in my office right now, yes AMD starts out faster, but in the long run I'd take A Intel system over AMD 10 to 1. I could go into all the reasons but I won't. It all depends on what you use your computer for, I have to have reliability and driver compatability, and that's why I use Intel, face it the big names are going to be more compatible. Anyway, I felt the need to vent on the subject so thanks. Peace

Ok here's the problem, I just put 512 Meg in my machine, and now it's acting like I only have 64, my applications are lagging, everything is acting like it takes five minutes to think about it before it does anything. Anybody had this problem, or are my not configured right? Thanks for the help.

Augh HA!! I do not have the teletext decoder on mine, how come???? I've got the rest of the stuff, and when I called ATI they said five things was all I needed there. I knew I was missing something. Now where do I get that. Give me a little more detail if you would please. Thanks

What is the deal, I've read the posts here, but I don't see anyone with the same problem I have with this. My problem is: After I downloaded XP Drivers and Direct X 8.0 and done everything else that everybody told me to do, (I even called ATI's tech support 3 times) it still doesn't work, I get a Tv Failed to Initialize video error. Then it says to please make sure I have the right drivers or else it is in use by something else. Anybody else have this error. I got the launchpad to install ok, and all the other stuff is working, ie; the cd players etc.
