What's VPC? I got both privateer 1 and 2,pacific strike and strike commander to work with a boot disk. but I'm having some problems with the speed on privateer 2 and the speech on privater 1 and pacific strike. Strike commander works great. Thanks

Anybody encounter this error while trying to run old dos games in Windows XP? If so how do you correct it? Thank You

If you upgrade you existing OS to Windows XP, it will void the manufacturers warranty. I found this up today when I called on technical support for the monitor on my new HP(which lasted 3 months). They told me that my computer was no longer warranteed, but because my monitor did not work when I attached it to another computer that they would honor the warranty this time. This also applies if you upgrade with the HP XP upgrade offer, or so I was told.

I've tried all the settings in memory and compatablity modes, but they don't seem to make a difference. I've also looked at editing the config.nt file that windows Xp uses to run dos games but the Emm command line in that is not clearly explained, at least not for me. Thanks for replying

Anybody know how to fix this error in Windows Xp? Protected mode driver is not responding to EMS function calls. Make sure your EMS driver is not configured with the NOEMS option. If it is, replace the option "NOEMS" with "RAM". Thanks
