It didn't work. So, I used partition magic, put xp on the second partions and installed ME, Works fine with ME. DOH! Thanks

I was using the XP software to do it. Then I tried two different programs one of which was Nero. It ruins CDRs. They are unreadable after. Thanks

I just got a new CDRW. 32x12x40x It will write just fine. It will read just fine what it just wrote to the CD. But, even the CDrom on the same machine can't read what the CDRW wrote. It will not read from other PCs either. The only thing that can read the disk is the CDRW that wrote it. Is this a know issue? Is there a fix? I am at a lose here. Thanks Priest

I am no expert by far, but I am playing Civ2 without a problem on a win/xp system. As a matter of fact it plays better than on 9x. The error you are getting may be a memory problem. Try a new stick or take one out, switch them around and see if you have the same problem. EP

Does XP have a imaging program like the other windows operating systems? I have a scanner that has no software to run it. The drivers are in and it works fine, but without the photo imaging program like in win/2k, I can't use it. Thanks for the help. EP
