Game crashes when trying to quick load or loading after death in Single player mode. I've increased the allocated memory to 192 because of 256Mgs of memory in my system. Win2000 sp2, P4 1.5 Ghz Mpro Game is amazing other than this..... 8)

Playing single player mode, I've noticed that after the 4th mission sometimes it works. I'd like to know what's happening? Personally I think it's W2000 because on start up it checks the system as a P3, not P4. Anybody else having this problem with 2000??

I do the same also with the Esc key, it's just a pain. I'm running ATI FireGL2 ver 5.12.... on W2000, work PC.

I was just trying to see if anyone else was experiencing this problem. In the event log I'm seeing a recurring error, "The device, \Device\Scsi\IntelATA2, did not respond within the timeout period." I'm looking for new drivers right now. Thanks

I'm running W2k IBM MPRO 1.5 with ATI FireGL 2. It does not allow a 16 bit display only 32. Is there a way to get around this? I'm having problems with such games as Max Payne, Rogue Spear, NOFL Forever. But can run the Return to Wolf Demo and Soldier of fortune.

I'm running FireGL 2 video card that does not except 16 bit games or settings. The only games so far that I've tested lately have been SOF Gold, Return to Castle Wolf Demo, and Serious Sam. Has anybody else with the same problem got others to work??

Hey Bursar, I tried the demo and it crashes before startup with an error that it doesn't recognize the Direct X even though I'm running 8.1. I guess I'll rent the full version. Are you runng a FireGl card?

I can't even get to that point. I've been trying demos and they install properly but fail when executed. I was just wondering if anybody else was running the same setup with games so I wouldn't have to download them for nothing when they don't work.

It is an expensive card and it's geared for CAD but I just want something to do on breaks.
