    XP keeps finding new hardware

    spatty82 posted a topic in Hardware

    XP Pro finds all my hardware again every few times i turn my system on, it requires a restart and is becoming really annoying. I dont have a USB port on it and ive configured the BIOS so that everything is enabled and not on auto. I'm having this problem on a Cyrix 300 128MB RAM 10.2GBHDD with onboard video. XP seems to run extremely fast compared to having ME or 98(se) on it, its just this hardware detection it keeps coming up with.
