its ok lot better than 4 5 platinum is kinda buggy needs to be patched alot and even with the patches it doesnt support my acer 24x but works great with my sony 12x its pretty cool has lots of new features just gotta make sure its gonna support you hardware first been waiting for a new patch for a long time

no way about 98% of the people i konw that use ( or used ) nortons have gotten a virus

are you using mcafee 6.0 it does that to outlook express if internet filter is enabled

pop-up stopper 2.6 great program www.panicware.com but it doesnt work with AOL or compuserve if using it right click on it and enable aggressive pop-up control

damn i hope it really doesnt take 10 minutes heres did you go into the msconfig and turn off all unnecessary programs ?? heres another thing that also works great go to microsofts website and search fast boot its a program they developed for nt and works great with XP and dowload bootvis. it will restart your comp. analyze its boot-up and reconfigure the boot sequence it knock bout 14-15 off my boot time but if its really taking 10 min i'd format and reinstall

best driver to use is the 21.85 they have it on visiontek.com or the best certified driver is 21.83 only known problem i know of is all games have joystick support built in know if you installed your controller ( example Gravis doesnt have XP drivers yet ) now if you connected it and windows XP claims they have installed drivers and you go in the contol panel and its working it really isnt........... without the proper drivers and it causes games not to start-up

click start > settings > control panel dbl click network connections then right click on your isp then left click properties then go to advanced tab then just check protect my computing and networking etc etc etc
