Hello, I work at company where we currently have over 1200 stores world wide. ALL of our stores' servers are ASUS, VIA based motherboards with 1.4Ghz T-Birds and 1GB Memory. We used to have Intel Seatle 440BX-2 boards out there with PII and PIII's. There haven't been just as many problems with these boards as there was with the intel boards. Overall everything has worked very well. Stability/Performance has been very good. The real issues here is price. It's still very hard to get a comparible P4 based solution that is equally priced.

My Stats: Athlon Slot-A 900MHz ASUS K7V 384MB Crucial PC133 Geforce2MX 32MB 30GB 7200RPM Hard Drive Sound Blaster Live! Value. Which video card would be my best bet? Raedon 7500, 8500, Geforce 2 Titanium?

I guess what i meant was....what video card can I get that is the fastest card for my configuration. By that I mean, the cpu doesn't limit the video card. For example I had a K6-2 400MHz and a Voodoo3 3000AGP which was being limited by the cpu. If I get a Geforce3 Ti 200 will it be limited by CPU? Amd Athlon 900MHz (SlotA) and Asus K7V

Is this a normal process for WinXP professional? It seems to be eating a lot of cpu time? It is in the WINNT\System32\ShellEx.EXE

Thanks so much! It was a back-door trojan virus? I had McAfee Virus Scan on and it didnt detect it...talk about crappy. But, I installed Nav2002 and it found it right away. Thanks again.
