i formatted my second hdd(drive F:\)and it made a small 7mb partition(drive E:\). I want to delete the E:\ and just get rid of the drive letter. How can i do that without erasing anything that is on drive F:\

it just started yesterday and im not sure why. when i go to shutdown or restart, a box pops up saying...ending program, explorer.exe is not responding and then i have click end now for it to shutdown/restart. Anyone know why this is happening or have a fix? Thanks

tried that, it did its scan, but didnt fix the problem

when i access the task manager the top part of it is cut off. dont know why this is happening now. anyone know anything here? thanks

yes i have recently installed a pop up blocker. did notice the prob after i installed it, but i have uninstalled the blocker but it still happens

I disabled a setting in services that i shouldn't have and now my pc is acting up. Distributed Link Tracking Client is the setting disabled. When i go back to enable the setting, the option wont pop up when u click on it and i have to ctrl+alt+delete to exit services. Anyone else do this before i know how i can fix without having to format?

well now when i go back to services, i click on one to change it but it never pops up for me to change it. Windows Media Player no longer works, always says memory is full. I no longer am able to use cut/copy and paste. Add/Remove Programs no longer shows up......etc.

memory use has increased since installing SP4. Anyone see this or know solution?

now that i have installed service pack 4 it hangs at the blue screen when starting up. the little box pops up loading settings, then disappears with the blue screen left for like a min before my desktop loads up. anyone else have this problem or know the solution to speedy startup again? thanks

www.guru3d.com. they got bunches of differ drivers and a forum to read about peoples cons/pros for each driver versions to find the one that would fit u best. Hope this is helpful

I have windows XP home edition and when i go to shutdown/restart it goes to that blue screen and says.....saving your settings.....windows is shutting down, and then it just hangs there for at least a couple min. before it wouldnt shutdown/restart on its own and someone had said to update my usb 2.0 drivers and that should work. it now does work automatically, but takes forever to do so. anyone know of anything else to do to make this action take alot less time to perform. What are some audio codecs i can get that would play sound on some divx files i have? I have the Radium mp3 codec and it works fine, but i have some avi's that im not gettin any sound from and its showing in the properties that it has sound cuz its showing the audio length and bitrate

I also had that folder. I couldn't delete it either so i just right clicked and went to properties and made it into a hidden folder so i don't have to look at it

My new mobo says its supports up to PC-2700 non-ECC. Im purchasing the RAM off of the newegg.com webpage. Some of the RAM say its non-ECC while others don't say anything about ECC. By not saying anything about it mean it is ECC? If i did buy one that happened to be ECC, couldn't i just disable the ECC function in the BIOS and it be the same as non-ECC? Thanx

Im using a Geforce3 Ti 200. I have the gamma set to how i like it on the desktop, but it doesn't make some of my games bright enuf. I've set the gamma in the game options to the highest and still isn't enuf. Is there some sort of program or setting i can use to fix the gamma only in OpenGL games and not for the desktop? Thanks

Its been shutting down and restarting fine until today. I haven't messed with any settings or anything i know of and now all of a sudden it won't shutdown or restart automatically. the blue screen comes up saying......saving settings......windows is shutting down and then it just hangs there. I have to manually hit the restart button or power button. Any suggestions on what is going on and how to fix the situation? Thanks in advance

I got it fixed. I had to download new drivers for my USB 2.0 Controller

somehow my comp set my drive letter to "B" instead of "A" and i wanna know how i can change it back to "A". I've went into the control panel and to computer management, but its not listed under the drives. It was set to "A" at one point, but i had to disable the drive cuz the IDE cable to it broke and now i got a new cable and it went to drive letter "B". Any suggestions?? Thanx in advance

I currently have a 300watt on a P3 500mhz and 256mb ram. Im gettin a new mobo and a AMD XP 1900+ and 512mb ram, and was wondering if my current power supply could handle the new hardware or should i move up to a 400watt. Thanx
