i have some files in the program files folder that have nothing in them and im trying to delete them but it says that the folder may be in use by another person or program. Im the admistrator and only user of the comp. How would i fix this to delete these folders. Thanx

I am using NTFS and i still don't see anything in View/Folder Options. Not seeing anything saying advanced either. I've took the folders and just made them a hidden folder so that i don't have to see it

I currently have a Diamond Viper TNT2 Ultra V770 for 2D and a voodoo2 for my 3D. Im thinking about gettin a Geforce4. If i bought the cheapest G4 which is about 120$, would it have better 2D quality than my Viper? I already know it should be better 3D than my voodoo2

when i single click on a video clip in the C:\ drive, a little preview comes up in the bottom left of the main folder. Is there a way to disable that feature? Im running Win2k professional btw. Thanx

i set the disk drive to cable select and put it at the end of the cable, but then i couldn't get my cpu to recongize my cd-rom. So i had to set the superdisk drive back to slave and put the cd-rom back at the of the cable. About the bios, my disk drive manual said to set the drive as if i didn't have a floppy drive

i have the corsair pc100 w/ecc registered 256mb stick. Im wanting to upgrade my memory and my question is do i need to get another stick that is w/ecc and registered? I've tried another brand that was pc100 but wasn't w/ecc nor registered and it didn't work. Is it a brand thing? or will it only work if i buy the same brand that would have w/ecc and registered. I wanna try to avoid the registered cuz its too expensive and i don't have much to spend this time. thanx

Im trying to delete the other user accounts that aren't in use. The main account and one i always use is labeled RavishingRocket, the others are Administrator and Guest. I never use either of the other two and im trying to delete them but when i try to it says user ravishingrocket/guest could not be removed. Is there someway i can delete those? Also im trying to delete some folders that don't have anything in them, but when i try it says...there has been a sharing violation. Why does it say that and how could i remove the folders Thanx!

I was using Tweak UI 2000, but when i went to check something it says this program has been disabled by the administrator. I am the administrator and i don't know how i would have disabled this program. I reinstalled the program but got the same message. Any suggestions on what i may have did or how i could re-enable this program? Thanx

I have the creative labs 3d blaster voodoo2 on Win2k. Im not really sure what the deal is but i can't get win2k to recongize the gamma change i set on the card for brightness on my games and when im playing a game with the voodoo2 and i tab to the desktop and then try to go back into the game, it disappears after i click on it on the taskbar. When i was using Win98, i didnt have this prob. Anyone know the prob or some drivers i could use that would work? THANX!
