Sorry, Should have got back sooner. I managed to locate the proper software for the device (external hard drive housing, connected to standard parallel port.) I did find, however, that certain hard drives don't work very well with it. In particular, those with master/slave jumpers on the underside of the drive. Anyway, thank you for your interest.

I'm looking for a software utility that will work with a parallel to IDE device. I found the correct drivers for the device and it was installed as "SCM PPort HD adapter". The device is working normally under Win2000, but I can't access the HDD plugged into it. Any help will be very much appreciated.
