I have a new Dell 8200 w/XP, which seems to recognize the printer part of this machine just fine. I've read there is no scanner support in XP, and I can't get a straight answer from HP as to whether their latest disc covers XP. I hesitate to load a year-old disc and then try to download upggrade, and the HP site is confusing as to whter the upgrade really covers XP well. Anyone have any info on this?

I perceive on the Epson web site some doubt about whether the Epson 1200u will work on my new Dell 8200 with XP. I hesitate to install the 14 month old software and then try to download over a phone line. Better to have a new disck, but I don't see how to get one. Anyone know anything?
