clutch 1 Posted December 1, 2000 I have never automated the shutdown process, but I have used two systems that could do it if used together (I think). You can setup an entry in the AT scheduler to use the Shutdown command. You can set it up to run on a repeated schedule and it's fairly flexible. I use it to purge a shared directory on the network at my office to control the junk that users leave behind when sharing files between departments. Both the shutdown.exe and a GUI for the AT scheduler are available with the NT Server Resource Kit (or some hunting around I would imagine). You can also setup the schedule at the command line (run AT /? for options), but I dig the spiffy GUI. ------------------ Regards, clutch Share this post Link to post
