Manos 0 Posted January 4, 2001 As I connected to LAN the first time with win 2K it didn't work at all. Tried out two different types of ISA cards and it didn't work. It wasn't untill I replaced it with a PCI D-link card, that I got it to work. Why is that? OK ISA is outdated but, still, backwards compability?!??! Aby one knows the probb? (The computer recognized me in the LAN but no one else? Share this post Link to post
FakeMcCoy 0 Posted January 5, 2001 Well, I didn't really have any ISA networking problems back when I had my 3com Etherlink III, which worked for about six months until it died. Share this post Link to post
Down8 0 Posted January 5, 2001 I had an Etherlink III that worked fine too, before I picked up a PCI Linksys card. -bZj Share this post Link to post
