Brian Frank 0 Posted March 21, 2001 Okay, I have two computers and there are some files I'd like to keep synced without having to manually update them. One runs Win2k solely, and my other one currently runs Win2k and ME. I just want the sync to be going on under just Win2k, because ME isnt really that important. Can I do this without buying 3rd party software? If so, how? Share this post Link to post
kgeissler 0 Posted March 21, 2001 I know there is a website that can do this for you but I can't remember the name. You tell it which files to keep in sync and it does. I think it puts copies of the files on their website. Share this post Link to post

clutch 1 Posted March 21, 2001 I know Win2K does it, but I don't know if ME does. You should be able to right click on a network file and select "Make Available Offline". This should walk you through a nifty wizard to set it up. This was geared for laptops, but I think it is what you are looking for. ------------------ Regards, clutch Share this post Link to post
Down8 0 Posted March 21, 2001 I know of one of the syncing web sites: www.fusioOne.com I'm sure there are others. -bZj Share this post Link to post
