Harald Sitter introduces some basic testcases for the Kubuntu desktop.

These tests are designed so that any user can run them "to ensure that

The Xubuntu team presents 5 tasks that users can do after upgrading

from 12.04 to 14.04 to "get closer to the default setup of Xubuntu

14.04." Tasks include: Removal of xscreensaver in favor of Light

Locker, replacement of alacarte with MenuLibre, removal of gThumb,

default of Whiskermenu and a reminder to check and re-enable PPAs post

upgrade, since they would have been disabled as part of the upgrade.
