He writes: "This announcement is good for VMware (another bunch of customers they can target) and it's good for Canonical (they get to stamp "Ubuntu Inside" on another enterprise cloud product). In the beginning of the article he acknowledges his discomfort and dislike for Unity and does a deep dive into some of the features and issues he has with it. While he concludes that it "could be much better" he also writes "I actually didn't find anything in Unity that would prevent me from enjoyably using my Linux-powered PC. It worked, and it has been quite reliable. In fact, if Unity were the only Desktop Environment available for Linux...
