news 28 Posted September 3, 2014 Hello editors, AMD is ready to get FXing serious with its new AMD FX 8000 series processors in the chipmaker's 8-core tradition. AMD essentially tweaks its 2 year old Piledriver architecture, bringing to the table three lower TDP 8-core CPUs: the AMD FX 8370, FX 8370E and FX 8320E. These chips grant owners of current 4- and 6-core AMD CPUs an upgrade path to 8-cores, and are fully unlocked. We take a look at the FX 8370 and 8370E, and see how they compare against the FX 9590. http://www.neoseeker.com/Articles/Hardware/Reviews/amd-fx8370-fx8370e/ "Although some may think these are nothing more than high binned chips, AMD > has tweaked these for both performance and power consumption. All 3 CPUs > offer 8 cores, and with the lower TDP can be used on mid-range > motherboards. This allows users already running an old FX 4XXX or 6XXX on a > mid-range 970 or 990 motherboard a simple upgrade path to 8-cores." Thanks as always for any linkage!
