Guest Posted July 28, 2000 I have my Pentium 2 450 overclocked to 504mhz.... using a FSB of 112mhz and a multiplier of 4.5. Do you guys think I can go any higher without blowing out my processor? (My goal is 600mhz..... can I do that with a PII 450?) ------------------ ********************************************** ---Beauty is in the eye of the beer holder.--- ********************************************** Pentium II 450@504 4.5X112 128MB PC100 SDRAM Diamond Viper V770 Ultra Sound Blaster Live! Down8 0 Posted July 31, 2000 I did some searching, and I found some great site for this kind of thing: www.overclockers.com www.extremeoverclocking.com Coincidentally, I was doing a Yahoo! search for reviews of my motherboard [soyo SY-7VCA], so that may help you. [original] I have a PIII 500E, and would also like to know how far I can go without f*cking up anything. I had a AMD 450, and could only OC it to 500 without problems in Win98, and an could not OC it at all when I ran Win2K. that was before I ralized that Intel was still better, at least than a K6-II.
