*Iblis* 0 Posted September 21, 2000 you might need to copy the explorer.exe into the winnt/servicepackfiles directory as well to stop it getting replaced by the SFC (if you're running sp1 of course) Share this post Link to post

Pyggy 0 Posted November 3, 2000 I cannot get this thing to work. I try to overwrite the file, and it says that I have, but when I check it is always the old explorer.exe. I am running SP1. How the heck to I get this thing to work? Thanks! Share this post Link to post
CUViper 0 Posted November 3, 2000 There are three places where you need to replace explorer.exe: \WINNT\ServicePackFiles\i386\ \WINNT\system32\dllcache\ \WINNT\ Replace them in that order, and you should be good... Share this post Link to post
