Speeder 0 Posted October 20, 2000 then why do I get S/PDIF grayed out in windvd and power dvd? w/ Guillemot Maxi Sound Fortissimo? Share this post Link to post
youhou 0 Posted October 28, 2000 "then why do I get S/PDIF grayed out in windvd and power dvd? w/ Guillemot Maxi Sound Fortissimo?" perhaps that's because you're using a OEM version of these software. try DVDgenie. it can enable those greyed-out entries in both DVD players. sometimes they don't display the correct options selected but it should work anyway if your soundcard drivers support it check this link for WINDVD :http://www.digital-digest.com/dvd/downloads/wdvd_down.html [This message has been edited by youhou (edited 28 October 2000).] Share this post Link to post
Lord-Data 0 Posted November 18, 2000 it would depend on your hardware. i only know about teh SBLive, EAX and A3D 1.0 is supported, im sure the a3d cards support a3d2 fine in win2k. ac3/spdif is *NOT* supported by creative drivers. Share this post Link to post
