jarves 0 Posted January 10, 2004 i hav a linux redhat 9.0, its kernel is 2.4.20-6, my question is how can i play mp3's and movies in linux. i cannot play it. what should i do???? Share this post Link to post
insaNity 0 Posted January 10, 2004 For movies I recommend mplayer but xine is another popular one. For music X MultiMedia System is definitely the way to go. The odds are Redhat has crippled all the above if it is even installed. Redhat is like that. You'll probably want to get new RPM's and install these programs again. Share this post Link to post
Dapper Dan 0 Posted January 10, 2004 Redhat runs a "generic" player, that is actually XMMS. All he'll need to do to run Mp3 is to install the mp3 plugin. Share this post Link to post
