Explorer default views...

I use Windows Explorer quite a lot. Every time I open a folder for the first time with it, I get the Large Icons view. I'd prefer the Details view. Does anybody know how to change it?

 

I've searched the MS Knowledge Base backwards and forwards on this one with no luck.
