bulio 0 Posted January 12, 2004 hi everyone, I am currently using slax (slackware live) and I want to establish and internet connection. I am using the kde desktop enviroment, but the only thing that is stopping me I believe is that I have an external adsl speedstream modem wich is usb. Will I be able to use the internet or is usb not supported Share this post Link to post
souldreamer 0 Posted January 12, 2004 Here in portugal support for USB ADSL modems sucks... I don't know if your modem is linux compatible. Share this post Link to post
bulio 0 Posted January 13, 2004 my modem is ethernet and usb compatible and came with both cords, only I can't install ethernet because I have no ethernet chip. Does this make it possible to run my modem in linux? Share this post Link to post
