NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980 Ti Review @ Neoseeker

Recommended Posts

If you crave GeForce Titan X class performance but haven't been willing to

shell out a thousand bucks for one, your moment will soon arrive as NVIDIA

formally announces the GeForce GTX 980 Ti graphics card. This bad boy is

fully intended to replace the trusty GTX 780 Ti but features the same

Maxwell core as the Titan X, and even manages to launch at a lower price!

The GTX 980 Ti features a 1 GHz core clock, 2816 CUDA cores, and 6144MB of

GDDR5 RAM running on a 384-bit interface for a total 336.5 GB/s bandwidth.

NVIDIA has officially priced the GTX 980 Ti at $649 USD, and with it comes

a price cut to the GTX 980 as well; the older Maxwell card should soon be

ringing in at $499 as a result. Hit our review to see just how big of a

deal the GTX 980 Ti is!

"The GTX 980 Ti card is facing some high expectations, after the tremendous

> success of the GTX 980 and the Titan X being currently the uncontested king

> of single GPU cards. It also comes to a market that's anticipating the

> eternally rumored new Radeon cards from AMD. However, this new member of

> the Maxwell family has a great legacy and comes with some solid specs that

> should translate into great performance."

Thanks as always for any linkage!
