tristan777 0 Posted October 13, 2000 put ur CD-ROM on a different IDE channel. i have a Asus A7V, KT133 based board. it has 2 regular UDMA 33/66 connecters and 2 ATA-100 connecters. i assume that's the way urs is? connect the ATA-100 HDD to the primary ATA-100 connecter, and connect the CD-ROM to one of the regular UDMA 33/66 connecters.
