xChrisx 0 Posted November 8, 2000 I just did a clean install of Whistler Beta 1 and so far I thing its very good. I am curious as to why there are about 7 svchost.exe's running and all together they are comsuming well over 20mb of ram. Why is this and is there any way to get them to use less ram? please help thanks chris Share this post Link to post

ThC 129 0 Posted November 9, 2000 yeah there are a lot of svchosts in there. Im pretty sure its an abreviation of service host, so its probably the services interacting with the OS or something. Share this post Link to post
