Hi Guys,

 

Just installed beta 1. It is really great. Every single game works. Fifa 2001 / Fifa 2000 ...

 

Few Question?

 

1. How to get My Computer.. Icons on the desktop back.

 

2. How to enable Auto Login? It asks for password every time. Tried turning the welcome page off, but didn't work. It went back to the Win2k Dialog Box.

 

3. When starting, on the Screen "Applying Computer Settings", it takes approx. 1 min. How to minimize that.

It sounds like you are running build 2276 yes?

 

If you enable automatic log-on the "Applying Computer Settings" waiting should be gone too. Use tweak UI to enable automatic login, you can find it at www.tweak3d.com? if not email me

 

You can also get the icons back on the desktop with tweak ui but also if you disable "simple start menu" in taskbar and menu properties.

that pause is in beta1, yes, but given theyv reduced teh startup time a lot from win2k, perhaps they just moved some startup functions from during the loadscreen to inside the graphicsup mode.

to get the my computer icons back, go to Display properties, Desktop, Desktop Items, and select the icons you want.
