cdoetzer 0 Posted December 20, 2000 Hi, i had the same Problem.I have 3 USB Devices. 1 Joypad,1 Modem,1 CD-Recorder;When i switched off the CD-Recoder it will start.You can check it by disabling USB Support in Bios. cu Chris Share this post Link to post
canonjon 0 Posted December 20, 2000 The same happens too me....i install beta 1(2296) and when the os should start up for the first time it hangs....i use the restart button on the computer and then i can log on...and there are no problems what i know of Share this post Link to post
jdulmage 0 Posted December 20, 2000 if you have ISA devices, take them out, ISA sucks anyways, make sure PNP OS installed is OFF in the BIOS. Then try again. I had to remove my ISA modem to get it working, but I never use the modem anyways. Share this post Link to post

canonjon 0 Posted January 12, 2001 I have whistler 2410 and i can´t get it install.......i have disabled USB and PnP OS in BIOS, and choosed fail-safe defaults in BIOS.....but when the install comes too starting Windows Whistler it stops...i have let it be for 15min but nothing happens....i have tried installing from the harddrive and from the cd and a clean install and a upgarde from beta 1.....
