B00MER 0 Posted February 18, 2001 I have an Creative SBLive and I'm running Whistler build 2296, I successfully installed the 2000 drivers from www.sblive.com, I had to use winrar to extract the .exe's that are contained in the SBLive Live!Ware. Just running them told me it was an unsupported OS. After getting around this I succesfully got the drivers installed, however I cannot use the SBMixer or the AudioHQ, I also notice my speakers/headphones are Peaking out badly compared to my sound when I was running 98. Anyone have any ideas on this? Should I try the NT drivers instead? Or is their a trick to getting the SBLive to work more properly on XP (Whistler)? Thanks. ------------------ B00MER boomer@molotovbliss.com http://www.molotovbliss.com Share this post Link to post
Questionnaire 0 Posted February 18, 2001 My version (2416) automatically installed the SBLive drivers - but no AudioHQ or Mixer. I never tried to install the rest of the SBLive's programs. Mabye just use windows mixer to adjust the audio levels. But the audio on my end works right with no-problemo's. Try and uninstall the card and then let windows install the drivers. Just a thought.....good luck! Share this post Link to post
