GNOME 3.20

Recommended Posts

The GNOME Project is proud to announce the release of GNOME 3.20, "Dehli".

This release brings significant improvements to many of our core

applications, such as system upgrades and reviews in Software, simple

photo editing in Photos and improved search in Files.

Improvements to our platform include shortcut help windows which are

now available in many applications, a refined font and better control

of location services.

For more information about the changes in GNOME 3.20, you can visit

the release notes:

GNOME 3.20 will be available shortly in many distributions. If you want

to try it today, you can use the OpenSuse nightly live images which will

include GNOME 3.20 soon.

To try the very latest developments in GNOME, you can also use the

VM disk images that are produced by the gnome-continuous build system.

This six months' effort wouldn't have been possible without the whole

GNOME community, made of contributors and friends from all around the

world: developers, designers, documentation writers, usability and

accessibility spe[censored]ts, translators, maintainers, students, system

administrators, companies, artists, testers and last, not least, users.

GNOME would not exist without all of you.

Thank you to everyone!

Our next release, GNOME 3.22, is planned for October 2016.

Until then, enjoy GNOME 3.20!

The GNOME Release Team
