Shrink 0 Posted March 31, 2001 Anyone seen this (in Beta2 Pro): AMLI: ACPI BIOS is attempting to read from an illegal IO port address (0x71), which lies in the 0x70 - 0x71 protected address range. This machine has suffered a fatal error and needs to be shutdown as quickly as possible. Please contact your system vendor for technical assistance. I get that every time my system boots. Any idea, other than disabling ACPI, how to get rid of it? TIA ------------------ Shrink 92% of the things we worry about don't happen - but the other 8% DO!
