I'm using XP beta 2462 and this f****g auto dial dialog always pops out with every boot i'm doing. even after i'm disabling it after the boot it still pops out again every 3-5 minutes. is there a crack or patch for this issue? thx xDacs Share this post Link to post
Mwork 0 Posted April 22, 2001 You can stop it from doing that if you can find what program is trying to connect to the net. For me it was fax manager. There was a fax that never got sent and every 5-10 minutes it would try to connect to the net to send it. Also when it pops up, there is a button at the bottom that says option, advanced, or properties can't recall exactly. Click that then in the pop up window click disable autodial. xDacs76 0 Posted April 23, 2001 what is it, this fax manager? is it a service or something else? i tried to disable it but it's just wouldn't save it, it's coming back to the default (and the default is enabled). any ideas? thx Share this post Link to post
jdulmage 0 Posted April 23, 2001 i think Paul Richardson mentioned to me that he would make sure it was fixed for RTM. So I know there is a bug in the auto dialing system, but it'll be fixed Share this post Link to post
