Pythagoras 0 Posted April 24, 2001 What might help you is to type-"help" in a dos prompt. This lists all the dos commands. Im not sure about the things you are asking about though. Doug Share this post Link to post

anak1 0 Posted April 24, 2001 You probably misspelled it with an I instead of a U Share this post Link to post

As for shutting down your machine there is a prog called shutdown.exe which is available on the Win2k Resource Kit. I believe there's also a shareware file that does the same floating around somewhere. I think it can do both shutdown and restart, but I'm not sure on this. -- Xiven Share this post Link to post

Intlharvester 0 Posted May 7, 2001 Shutdown/Reboot -- shutdown.exe from the resource kit. process/ram/cpu -- pmon.exe from the support tools (somewhere on the W2K CD) Share this post Link to post
AdslBoy 0 Posted May 7, 2001 Found a freeware program that does this at: http://www.stormgate.com/shazron/qshdn.htm Share this post Link to post
