The poll requires that a voter log in first.

I hate being required to be a registered ntcompatible user and logging in every time I want to post something but I am more likely to put up with that hassle for posting something than taking polls.

Ahh, yes Open BSD. I probably shouldve grouped Linux/Unix/OpenBSD together, but I didnt think about it. There's other OS's I couldve put, like O/S2/Warp or DOS, but didnt think those were as big, especially OS 2.

Go to the "User CP" button, and click "Edit Options". If you have cookies enabled, it will auto-magically log you in when you come back to NTComp.

Hmm, you seem to be alone on the mac, zirik.

I was rather shocked at the support for BeOS, didnt know it had that much support. I was expecting like one vote for it.

This has definitely been an interesting poll so far.

i feel that this is a pretty stable config

win2k pro = workstation

database server = solaris

firewall or sites that need to be secure = openbsd

servers where speed is more of an issue than security (ie webservers and so on)= freebsd

internal mail, dns, fileserver, pdc = linux (debian prefered)
