Mike Zamarocy 1 Posted April 27, 2001 ARGH!!!!!!! Ok guys, which it the best flavor this time around? And where was it that I read a nice explanation of what benefits each major revision of the drivers have again? I mean as in What do the 5x, 6x, 7x, and 1x (10, 11, 12) have special about them. I thought the 7.x were DX8 drivers, but in that article I am refering to, it was said teh 1x drivers were THE DX8 drivers????? Share this post Link to post
ThC 129 0 Posted April 27, 2001 anything past 7.17 has direct X 8 support in it. The 12's I know add support for the GF 3 and the 2 new GF 2 MX cards. Share this post Link to post
Dragon-Lord 0 Posted April 29, 2001 Actually, the 11 series added support for the NV20/Geforce3. I am still using 11.01 as the v12s removed the anisotrophic filtering options from the control panel. I really like the look of the filtered image maps, so until they put that back in, I am staying with the v11s. :} Share this post Link to post
