Christine Corbet-Moran delivered an outstanding keynote to an overflow crowd. The first of two Installfests took place, with Open Source experts guiding beginners through the process of getting a working Linux distribution onto their systems. The Next Generation track provided a vehicle for some exceptional young people as they tackled topics such as VR, 3D printing, big data and video creation. Remember the names; you’ll be hearing more from this new guard in the coming years. Please be sure you don’t leave SCALE without the coveted 15x t-shirt.
