An update that fixes two vulnerabilities is now available.

 

Description:

 

This update for strongswan fixes the following issues:

 

- CVE-2017-9022: Insufficient Input Validation in gmp Plugin leads to

Denial of service (bsc#1039514)

- CVE-2017-9023: Incorrect x509 ASN.1 parser error handling could lead to

Denial of service (bsc#1039515)

 

 

Patch Instructions:

 

To install this SUSE Security Update use YaST online_update.

Alternatively you can run the command listed for your product:

 

- SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 11-SP4:

 

zypper in -t patch slessp4-strongswan-13136=1

 

- SUSE Linux Enterprise Debuginfo 11-SP4:

 

zypper in -t patch dbgsp4-strongswan-13136=1

 

To bring your system up-to-date, use "zypper patch".
