Anyone Know When WinXP RC1 Will Be Sent Out??

I heard somewhere that it would be the end of May, and in other places Im hearing that it wont be till the end of June. I believe that RC2 will be released sometime in July and then the RTM will be sometime in August, anyone know the release dates for sure??

The beta is out right now, not sure where you got "end of May" from.

I figured it would probably be sometime in June before it would come out. I didnt think it would make much sense for it to be out at the end of this month when they just release build 2469. Oh well, stuck using build 2465 until next month, or until a suitable crack is available for 2469

Hey guys,

 

I was just wondering when the people that bought RC 1 & 2 as part of the preveiw deal would recieve them? Would M$ send them out at the same time they release them for download to testers and/or MSDN subscribers? (I paid the extra "$" to have RC 1 sent to my house) Hope someone can answer my question! Until then.... I'll just have to tough it out with my pirated, illegal, warezed, cracked copy of beta 2 (2462).

lol, I hope we get them at the same time, paying the extra cash for the CD they better get it to me, I mean after all, I dont want to be stuck using my perfectly legal copy of 2465 that I downloaded from someones ftp site that was cracked and with a CD key that 100's of people already used

Well, if i'm not gonna be able to get the RC's I paid for at the same time the others get it (testers, MSDN subscribers, warez ftp's, irc channel's etc.etc.) or at the very least within a week tolerance then i'm gonna just cancel the credit card order! ;( (how is it the warez scene can get it before the legit guys anyway? What kinda people they have working at M$? Windows Millennium final anyone? ;( )

 

Sorry for the rant but someone told me the preview paying guys wherent important to M$ so they would get it about a month after testers/MSDN subscribers and odviously the warez scene! So if someone knows if the RC's bought as part of the preview deal from M$ http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/preview/default.asp would get them around the same time as everyone else, please clarify before I pull my hair out and just cancel my order!

 

Until then.... I just chill' with my pirated, FBI gonna take me to jail, got it three days before MSDN subscribers had it availible copy. (hey M$, you reading this? hehe )
