Service Pack 2 broke SMTP

I installed SP2 today and now my virtual mail server will not work.

 

The SMTP service is started. But the Server in IIS will not start...i get some "...did not respond in a timely fashion" error.

 

is there a way to fix this?

BTW..using Win2k Server

try uninstalling sp2 and/or rechecking all of your settings. if all else fails, reinstall windows .

I couldn't go very long without mail...so i had to uninstall SP2...

 

But that upset me because i DID see a performance boost.
